Our Mission

The purpose of this organization is exclusively service, both charitable and educational. The two principal means of achieving this purpose are to:

1. provide, as a benefit to the public, trained canines and trained support personnel to search for victims lost, trapped, incapacitated or deceased, upon the request of any official agency, day or night, under any and all conditions where canines can operate efficiently, except in the apprehension of criminals.
   
   
2. provide continuous training and education for canines, handlers and support personnel, to improve and develop capabilities to ensure competent and capable search teams and educating the public as to how to prevent emergency situations. This includes, but is not limited to, educational programs for GSD, other search and rescue personnel in the state of Missouri and the public.

If you are a family member or friend of a missing/lost person, please contact the agency in charge of the situation and ask them to activate Gateway Search Dogs utilizing the information above.
